Something a little different to start 2026.
This Wednesday 14th January, we will meet in the courtyard of Mottistone Manor from 09:00.
Please park in the manor car park if arriving by car.
Entry is via the usual public entrance through the barn. If the wooden gates are closed, please ensure they are returned to the closed position after entering.
We will be surveying the courtyard using GPR, gradiometry and resistance methods. We hope to find traces left by former structures and also to test and learn from applying our geophysical techniques in a different physical environment. Full details are in the email.
