Steve Hutt and I have collected a variety of naturally occuring clays from around the Island’s coasts, and we will have the use of the classroom at Dinosaur Isle to turn the clay into a variety of hand-made objects.
We need those members of the IWNHAS who are interested in a morning or afternoon making pots and other objects from this clay to contact either Steve or myself so that we know how many to set up for, and if we have enough clay already collected.
Because most members are retired it has been suggested we could even do this as a weekday event if that was asked for.
Once we have enough members interested we will advertize a day and time. Please let us know if you wish to bring your own clay, have a preferred date, or can bring marking utensils.
If members are interested can they please email me at trevorshorse@yahoo.co.uk
