‘Dead (life) Drawing’ Natural History workshop at Quay Arts

A chance to explore, study and draw specimens from the IW Natural History & Archaeological Society’s pop-up museum with artist Ian Whitmore in this relaxed drawing workshop as part of the Quay Arts Summer School Programme.

From bones to beetles by way of feathers and fossils, you’ll learn through handling, observing and drawing a cornucopia of fascinating Natural History specimens, trying out a range of mark making materials. The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in art and nature, from beginners to those with more experience. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring along favourite kit.
