Looking at the Countryside
This is a non-specialist group which looks at all aspects of the countryside in an informal way. Monthly meetings take the form of a short walk (2 – 3 miles) where we look for interesting things. It may be flowers, animals, birds, insects, fungi, historical and archaeological sites, it all depends on what we find on the day.
It is open to all members of the Society and offers an opportunity to share knowledge and to learn from each other whilst enjoying a pleasant stroll in the country.
This group used to be called Access to the Countryside.
