We are planning to run our annual New Year Plant Hunt on 1st January 2021
Each year the BSBI run an event across the country to count the number of wild plants people can find in flower at the start of the New Year. This time, we are planning to run two groups of six, one led by Dave & Hazel Trevan (plus four) from Ventnor and the second led by Colin Pope (plus five) from Ryde. Both will start at 11.00 and run for about one and a half hours. Afterwards we may find a venue to visit for refreshments. If you are interested please register by sending an e-mail to [email protected] . Of course, you may prefer to carry out the hunt on your own. If you do, please submit your counts to the BSBI.
