Weather permitting, Last week’s walk that was cancelled because of t he weather will take place. See April 6th post for details. Boots or wellingtons will be needed as there are some muddy tracks.

On 2nd April 11 members of the botany group met to carry out this year’s translocation.

Walk in the Godshill area led by David Marshall.  About 3 miles with only gentle climbs. Park in the Godshill village car park and meet across the road outside The Griffin at 10am.

Meet at Delian’s at 10am to discuss work at Quarr.

Meet at Binstead Church at 10.30 to continue last week’s work. Note change of time. For details see last week.

Visit Holy Cross Church, Binstead to study the Anglo-Norman masonry and look inside. Meet at the church at 10am.  Bring cameras, magnifiers, tape measures, pencil, paper etc, Church Road is  at the mini-roundabout where Quarr Hill, Binstead Hill and Newnham Road meet.  Follow the road
