Frank Morey, the founder of our Society, wrote ‘A Guide to the Natural History of the Isle of Wight’, published in 1909.
It I a most marvellous series of chapters on the geology and natural history with lists of all the species known at the time and early black and white photos of some of the specialities. A copy, signed by Frank Morey (dated Easter 1916) in pristine condition is being offered for £100, the money to go to Wight Nature Fund.
