This Wednesday 22nd October, we will meet at Sudmoor from 09:00** to continue our geophysical surveys.
** I appreciate that a 09:00 start will not be practical for all, hence the ‘from’.
Those arriving early can help set things up. Others can join when convenient.
Per the discussion out on the field last week, we may stop for a refreshment break mid-morning!
We will most likely resume our study in field 9994, where we conducted our excavation. We saw from previous geophysics some faint linear features immediately to the east of the building. This will be investigated with further gradiometry and resistance work. The outcomes from this work will help decide where to target a GPR (ground penetrating radar) study, possibly in November.
Parking on field 9994 is possible, or you could walk down Ridget Lane from Mottistone.
Reminder: Wear your Hi-Vis. (we have spare hi-vis available if required)
