The Bird Group

This group is led by Teresa Tearle, British Trust for Ornithology Regional Representative. We are a friendly group and welcome any level of experience, as we are keen to share our love of birds. Volunteer walk leaders are always welcome as you know your patch best. Please contact Teresa if you are interested.

Field meetings

Once a month this group meets at various locations around the Island, mostly on a Saturday or Sunday morning. We cover a variety of habitats so we will visit the coast for birds on the sea, estuaries, the downs, woodland and farmland. Whilst walking the area we aim to identify any bird species we spot.
