This Wednesday 28th January, we will meet in the courtyard of Mottistone Manor from 09:00.
Please park in the manor car park if arriving by car.
Entry is via the usual public entrance through the barn. If the wooden gates are closed, please ensure they are returned to the closed position after entering.
We will be surveying the lower garden using GPR.
Based on our last visit, it is likely that only a few people can be kept occupied with the surveying. There is always the possibility of examining the exterior of the manor house, etc., if that is of interest to you. You will find a good range of reference material at https://heritagerecords.nationaltrust.org.uk/HBSMR/MonRecord.aspx?uid=MNA128759 with links to several reports.
Reminder: Wear your Hi-Vis. (we have spare hi-vis available if required)
Please ask if you have any questions.
