This Wednesday 24th September, Helen will lead a walk along Bowcombe Down.
There are Bronze Age barrows and an Anglo-Saxon cemetery.
Meet at 10:00 in the public car park on Carisbrooke High Street.
We shall be taking the Tennyson Trail from its start off Nodgham Lane.
Anyone who wishes to shorten the walk and avoid the uphill stretch throughout Carisbrooke might wish to try and find roadside parking nearer Nodgham Lane and meet us at the start of the Tennyson Trail.
