This Wednesday 4th September we will meet at Brook Bay car park at 10:00 am.
We will walk from the car park along the top of the cliff for a distance of about 1 mile east, past Sudmoor Point, to the south of the site of the building we found in field 9994.
The cliff here is notable for the late Iron Age settlement finds, lost to the sea in the 1950s.
Looking across to our excavation site, we can get a sense of the surrounding landscape.
