The dates for the New Year Plant Hunt have just been announced by BSBI.
The IWNHAS Botany Group expedition is planned for Saturday 29th December. Meet at 10am along Undercliff Drive near the footpath to Steephill Cove (Grid reference SZ550771) for a walk along the cliffs to Ventnor and back via Ventnor Park, aiming to finish by 1pm.
Should the weather be unsuitable, we will try to arrange an alternative group expedition, and the details will be on the IWNHAS website.
Alternatively, please feel free to organise your own plant hunt – up to 3 hours any time to suit you between 29th December and 1st January and submit your results on line. See https://bsbi.org/new-year-plant-hunt for further details
