Due to the number of lengthy road closures on several main routes, the botany meeting at Mottistone on Sunday 11th September is cancelled. For anyone interested, the meeting will take place the following day, Monday 12th September, at the same venue at 10.00 am

12 members met at Latimer Road St Helens on a beautiful morning. Our first stop was on the bridge overlooking the Eastern Yar and we then walked along the footpath that runs adjacent to Embankment Road to Harbour Farm entrance. We then walked east a little way by the road beyond the h

Please be aware that the Tour of Britain Cycle Tour takes place on the Island on Sunday 11th September and there will be a number of road closures. It should be over by 2pm but you may be affected by temporary road closures. Do not attempt to access Mottistone via the Military Road.
