Members of IWNHAS are invited on a group tour of Bembridge Fort on Culver Down.
The fort, owned by the National Trust, is now leased and managed by a charity, The Bembridge Fort Trust. It will be closed to the public for about 18 months while extensive work is carried out. Our tour will include areas not usually seen by visitors and is an opportunity to see the work in progress
Tour participants are asked to give a donation, suggested £10 per person, to support the planned restoration work.
Please note that floor surfaces may be uneven and slippery in places. There are slopes and steps, so walking around the site could be challenging for some.
No dogs are allowed on site.
