Change of plan due to bad weather. Meet indoors at IWNHAS HQ in Prospect Road, Cowes.

Meeting cancelled due to poor weather. Same arrangements as last week at Mottistone.

Continuing survey of cottage at Mottistone.  Meet at 10am in car park by Mottistone Manor.

Thirteen members met in Latimer Road on a lovely, crisp morning. Our first stop was to overlook St Helen’s millpond where there was a bracing wind blowing. From there we were able to see a large number of Teal, possibly 100, 12 Oystercatchers, some Mallard, Cormorant, Redshank, 2 Litt

Meet at 10am in the National Trust car park by Mottistone Manor. We will walk up to the ruin near Longstone Cottage to clear vegetation so sturdy gloves and suitable clothing are needed plus secateurs and loppers if you have them.

No Archaeology meeting advertised this week due to other commitments.
