Ten members of IWNHAS joined Dave Fairlamb of Natural Links for an Ornithology Group outing to Brading Marshes east and Bembridge Harbour on 26 October. Birdwatching began by the sluice on Embankment Road, looking down the Eastern Yar and there was immediate delight with 2 Kingfishers

On Wednesday 16th October we will meet indoors at Landguard Manor, Shanklin at 10:00 am. We will identify and catalogue the more recent finds from our dig and will also study the rim and base sherds to identify likely pot forms, e.g. cups/beakers, bowls, platters, etc.
