Continue Geophysics at the Garlic Farm as last week.

We might be fed up with all this wet weather but it has been wonderful for fungi. Read about the visits of our Fungi Group to date here We have two more foray dates: Saturday 9th November at Golden Hill Country Park and Sunday 24th November at Ryde Cemetery.

On Wednesday 16th October IWNHAS Access group visited Golden Hill for a walk around the site with Gift To Nature Countryside Ranger, Nick Webb.

Steve Hutt and I have collected a variety of naturally occuring clays from around the Island’s coasts, and we will have the use of the classroom at Dinosaur Isle to turn the clay into a variety of hand-made objects.
